Distribution and wholesale
Seed in bulk for shops, seedbanks and preservation projects. None of it is standardised yet, so an order gets worked out one accession at a time.
Who this is for
Shops and seedbanks that want to carry landrace seed with a provenance record their own customers can check. Preservation projects and grower networks after more of one population than a retail packet holds.
If you are buying to sell on, say so in the first message. It changes what we need to know about you and what we can sensibly offer.
What we can supply
Seed from the collection with the record that came with it: the place, the elevation, the season, the harvest year and the person who kept the line going. Each accession's register entry sits on landrace.wiki, which is an independent project we do not control, so whoever buys from you can check the material without taking our word or yours for it.
What the shop lists at any time is a slice of the register. Ask about a region or a population you cannot see on the site, because plenty of it is held back and unlisted.
An accession is one collection event and never blended across years or farms, so how much of it exists is different for every number and a bulk question has no general answer. When a lot is finished it is finished. The next trip to the same place comes back with a new accession and a new record.
If you resell our seed, carry the accession number on your own listing. It is what lets your customer find the record, and a packet without it stops being traceable the moment it leaves your shelf.
Before you write
We ship to the countries currently offered at checkout. That list can change and applies to a bulk order exactly as it applies to one packet. The disclaimer explains what the list does and does not mean.
Payment works the same as it does on any other order and the FAQ answers it. There is no card option and there will not be one soon. Card processors ban cannabis seed by name in their terms, whoever is asking.
Invoices come from Zomia LLC, a US company, until the Spanish company that will hold the shop is registered. After that they come from the Spanish company instead and this page will say so. The legal page tracks where that stands.
If your own books need something particular from that, a tax treatment, an invoice in a certain form or paperwork for bringing seed in, ask before you order rather than after.
Minimums, prices, discounts and terms are not set. Retail packet sizes are still being decided, so nothing about quantity or format is fixed either. Ask about a particular accession and you will get a straight answer about that one.
How to ask
The contact form is the way in and it comes straight to us. Tell us who you are, where you trade, which accessions or which regions you want and roughly what quantity you have in mind. Vague enquiries get vague answers.
Check your spam folder before deciding we ignored you. Our mail has a long history of landing there and it has cost us more orders than anything else.
