Questions
You probably have questions
Ordering, shipping and what we mean by an accession. Anything not answered here, write to us.
Ordering and payment
How do I pay?
Bank transfer in euros, a US dollar transfer on US orders while we still ship there, PayPal, Western Union or MoneyGram, or Bitcoin and Monero. Card processors ban cannabis seed by name in their terms, so there is no card option and there will not be one soon.
Where do I get the payment details?
On the confirmation screen, the moment the order is placed. They are not emailed to you. A third of the orders placed on our old site since 2023 were never paid because the details went out by email and spam filters ate them, so the checkout now puts everything on the page in front of you.
PayPal, Western Union, MoneyGram and crypto work by request: the screen asks you to write to us with the order number, and we send back a payment request, the receiver details or a crypto address.
Keep your order number. It is the reference for the payment and the only thing we need to find your order.
How long do you hold my order?
14 days from placing it. The seed is reserved for you that whole time and ships the day payment arrives. After that the order lapses and the seed goes back on the shelf, which matters more than it sounds: most lots are small and some are the only ones in existence outside the field they came from.
Do I need an account?
No. Guest checkout is the default and always will be. It takes a name, an email and a shipping address and nothing else.
An account is there if you want one: it lists your orders, saves your address and holds anything you have put aside. Membership of the association is a separate thing and an account here does not sign you up for it.
Shipping
Where do you ship?
The countries currently offered at checkout. That is the live delivery list and the checkout refuses any other destination rather than taking an order it cannot fulfil.
Seed law differs by country and sometimes by region. Placing the order is your confirmation that it is legal where you live.
Are you still shipping to the United States?
Check the country list at checkout. If the United States is offered there, we are accepting US orders. Section 781 is scheduled for 12 November 2026 and we will check the position before changing the live list.
Is the packaging discreet?
Yes. A plain padded envelope with your name and address on it, no company name and nothing about the contents. The seed is packed so it does not get crushed on the way.
When will my order arrive?
Orders go out within a few working days of payment clearing. Inside Europe parcels usually land within a week of dispatch, further afield one to two.
If it has been longer than that, write to us with your order number and we will look.
If something goes wrong
My seeds arrived damaged. What should I do?
Write to us with your order number and say what state it turned up in. We will put it right.
What is your returns policy?
Write to us before you send anything back, otherwise it comes straight back at your cost. Unopened packets in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery. The refund covers the seed price and not the postage.
I wrote to you and heard nothing.
Check your spam folder first. Our mail has a history of landing there and it is the single thing that has cost us the most orders. If there is nothing, write again through the contact form and say it is a second attempt.
The seed itself
What is an accession?
Seed from a single collection. Collected in the same place at a different time it gets a different number, because the record is the product as much as the seed is. There is more about how the numbers work on the learn page.
How old is the seed I am buying?
Every listing carries its harvest year, and an accession is never blended across years or farms. The year on the record is the year in the packet.
Something I wanted is sold out. Will it come back?
Not under the same number. A sold out lot is gone, and when we collect in the same place again the new seed gets a new accession with its own record. Same population, new collection. The blog and Patreon announce returns to a region.
